5Element X-Buds Review

5Element X-Buds Review

5Elements, an Indian brand known for smart gadgets, recently launched the X-Buds TWS designed for mobile gaming. It has Bluetooth 5.3 support, features a low-latency gaming mode, and promises up to 30 hours of total playback. After using it for over a week, here are the reviews of the Bluetooth earbuds.

design and manufacture

The headsets come in a handy rectangular charging case that fits in your pocket. The case has a matte finish which feels easy to hold and does not attract fingerprints. Also, the charging case features a green light in an effort to fit under the gaming category.

The case is made of plastic with a matte finish, doesn’t attract fingerprints, and isn’t prone to scratches easily. The USB Type-C port is at the bottom of the case, while the top has an opening to access the earphones.

The earbuds are lightweight, fit snugly, and can be easily worn for long periods of time without any hassle. In addition, the earbuds have touchpads, allowing users to adjust volume, change tracks, attend calls, or trigger the voice assistant with a finger.

Connectivity, pairing and controls

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, the pairing process in the X-Buds is simple. First, enable the Bluetooth function on your device, select ‘5E X-Buds’ and connect.

The TWS is pairing-ready when you open the top lid, and it’s worth noting that there’s no function button. So far, in my usage, I didn’t face any connectivity issues with the OnePlus 9 Pro. However, it doesn’t have dual-mode connectivity, so you can only pair it with one device at a time.

The touch controls on the X-Buds are responsive and work well. However, unlike some of the other buds, you can’t customize the settings. You can answer calls, adjust volume, play/pause music tracks and control voice assistants all in this bud.

Audio quality, call performance and battery life

The X-Buds have 13mm drivers and are tuned for bass. The X-Buds’ audio is good, the vocals sometimes overpower the bass, and the treble is pretty decent.

Voice clarity was good for below average calls indoors and out. Overall, these have decent audio and average call quality for the price.

According to the company, X-Buds can last up to 6 hours. During the review, we got about five and a half hours on a single charge. The charging case can extend the battery life up to 30 hours.

Overall, the 5 Elements X-Buds are a good Bluetooth true wireless earbud for the price of Rs. 1,449 There are other alternatives that you can consider from companies like boAt, Redmi and realme in the same price range. you it. can get from Amazon.in,
