Google Pixel 7 hands-on full prototype shows

  • Unbox Therapy has posted a practical video of the Google Pixel 7.
  • Prototypes of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are shown in the video.
  • These will differ slightly from the retail model, but are worth a look.

Google is probably going to launch the Google Pixel 7 series sometime in September. However, as always with Google, we already have extensive leaks and even official information about the phone, so too many surprises won’t likely be there.

These are clearly prototype versions of the phone, right below the prototype rear logo where the Google “G” would be. However, they are probably very close to what we will see from the retail versions of the phone, perhaps with some subtle changes.

However, the most important thing is that these prototypes work. You can take a look at the screen, get an idea of how big the bezels are, and compare them to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. This is a very enlightening Google Pixel 7.

With that said, we know a lot about the Pixel 7 series, except for one thing: the price. We expect Google to stick to the price of last year’s devices. If that happens, the Pixel 7 could cost $599 and the Pixel 7 Pro could cost $899. By the time Google is ready to launch the phone, those numbers will be the only unknown.
