Sling claimed it was a “first” in the live TV space.

The beta is now available on the web via Chrome. Your friends may not even need to pay if you act quickly, as guests can attend parties between now and September 30 simply by signing up for a Sling TV account.
Sling hasn’t said how soon Watch Party may be coming to other browsers or platforms, though it may depend on access to cameras for video chat. Don’t expect to attend parties on your console, at least not for a while.
